First Runner Up Starts Today

The annual Mrs. First Runner Up Competition is starting today at the Mrs. America Pageant website.

Here is how the contest works and why we want your votes:

Listed on the Mrs. America website is photos of all the state first runner-up delegates.  One of these delegates will come and compete for the title of Mrs. America 2014 and is automatically a SEMI-FINALIST!  It is a dollar per vote and net proceeds goes to these charities:

Foundation for the Blind
Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Fund
MADD Mothers Against Drunk Drivers
National Association of battered Women
City of Hope - Pediatrics

Interview Suit Ideas

One of the easiest parts of the competition is interview.  Why do I say that statement?  Because it is all about you.  No one knows you better than yourself and that is the goal of the personal interview, to share yourself with the judges.  Interview competition starts with looking like the next Mrs. Ohio America 2013.

A great form fitting sheath dress, add amazing shoes and maybe a statement piece of jewelry. Done!  Here is what you ask yourself once you have the suit on your body, 'Do I feel like Mrs. Ohio America 2013?'  Based on your answer, you are either done or not.  Happy hunting!  Also follow Mrs. Ohio America Pinterest Boards for more ideas.

Do you look to others for the nod of approval? As we introduce you to the new Mrs. Ohio America Website, we would like to welcome you to follow Mrs. Ohio 2012, DeAnna Holliday and the Mrs. Ohio America Organization throughout the year.  The Mrs. Ohio America Organization would like to thank Michelle Moore-Galvin (Mrs. Ohio 2002) and Krista Yovanno (Mrs. Ohio 2004) for the opportunity to continue the legacy you both started.  I am honored to have this journey.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
